In its 20th edition, PLASTEX will be the foremost platform to meet with key decision-makers and quality trade buyers from Egypt and other North and East African countries. The exhibition will give you direct access to dealers, importers, potential agents, and buyers who are looking to source finest products.

PLASTEX 2024 has been a unique opportunity, bringing together customers and industry players not only from Egypt but also from surrounding countries, Africa, and the Middle East. Egypt is a strategic market for us, serving as a gateway to the Middle East and Africa. It demonstrates the international growth of the plastics industry. Looking ahead, I am excited about the next chapter of PLASTEX in 2026 and hope to witness more demonstrations showcasing innovative machines and applications.

PLASTEX is the largest event in plastics and rubber in MENA and this year it was bigger than ever before. The Egyptian government has set a goal to enhance the country's exports of plastics and rubber to new markets, specifically targeting the African continent. The plan is to capitalise on the growing demand for these products in the African market and increase the revenue generated from exports. The government is working with local manufacturers to improve the quality of their products and expand their production capabilities, with the aim of establishing Egypt as a leading exporter of plastics and rubber products in Africa.

As the premier event for plastics and rubber for the Middle East and North Africa, PLASTEX has exceeded our expectations in showcasing the latest industry advancements, enabling the development of the Egyptian industry, and advancing the quality of products fitting to global standards. The aim is to establish Egypt as a comprehensive industrial hub in the Middle East and Africa, owing to its potential, distinctive features and the multitude of components that enable operational and industrial excellence.

As a Chinese company, we identified immense potential in the Egyptian market and decided to explore opportunities by participating in PLASTEX 2024. Following the three days of the exhibition, we unequivocally affirm the promising nature of the Egyptian market, where the current local production only fulfills approximately 30% of market demands, signaling substantial opportunities for growth. The results of our participation at PLASTEX 2024 surpassed our expectations, leaving us thoroughly impressed. We are delighted with the outcome and are already planning our participation in future editions.
